Summer Dreams‘Twilight’ Pinot Noir 2021- Special Priced 3-Pack
This 2021 Pinot Noir comes from west Sonoma Coast in the Annapolis and Fort Ross-Seaview sub-regions. It is comprised of Clone 777, a more fruit-driven clone, but delicate in flavor. It was whole berry fermented in a mix of puncheons and open top tanks. As Jayson describes, it is “super opulent, with intense wildflowers, dark red fruit, cherry cobbler, raspberry, and strawberries, hints of Asian spice, leather, and minerals. This is a medium bodied wine packed with elegant subtle notes, perfect for summer and early fall or with meals where subtly and complexity must dance across the palate. I love it.”
Summer Dreams is the newest wine project by Jayson Woodbridge, of Hundred Acre. You might remember years ago when Jayson produced a white wine which had gold specks in the wine. This is the reincarnation of the brand, minus the gold specks. For this debut, it is a collection of wines from unique micro-vineyards across western Sonoma Coast. Each wine is from hillside vineyard sites chosen for their generous slope ranging from 900 – 1900 feet above sea level and unique sequences of Goldridge soil. Goldridge soils are rare, fine-grained sandy loam known for excellent drainage, and a characteristically light and fluffy texture. These soils give the wine texture, dimension, acidity, and length that allows the wines of this area to compete with the very best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir around the world.
