Summer Dreams‘Golden Hour’ Pinot Noir 2021- Special Priced 3-Pack
This 2021 offers "complex notes of ripe strawberries and cherries, hint of tea leaf and flowers, more medium bodied from the Eastern Ridge of Western Sonoma Coast, riper and fuller but pure elegance, layering and perfectly balanced tannins and acidity. It’s a tour de force of complexity, a symphony orchestra," explains Jayson Woodbridge. It is comprised of clones Pommard, 777, and 828 make up this 2021 Pinot Noir with it coming from West Sonoma Coast on the Eastern ridge. The wine was aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels from the Vosges Forest, mostly Taransaud oak.
Summer Dreams is the newest wine project by Jayson Woodbridge, of Hundred Acre. You might remember years ago when Jayson produced a white wine which had gold specks in the wine. This is the reincarnation of the brand, minus the gold specks. For this debut, it is a collection of wines from unique micro-vineyards across western Sonoma Coast. Each wine is from hillside vineyard sites chosen for their generous slope ranging from 900 – 1900 feet above sea level and unique sequences of Goldridge soil. Goldridge soils are rare, fine-grained sandy loam known for excellent drainage, and a characteristically light and fluffy texture. These soils give the wine texture, dimension, acidity, and length that allows the wines of this area to compete with the very best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir around the world.
