This one-of-a-kind wine was created exclusively for Premiere Napa Valley and produced by Thomas Rivers Brown. Each year noted Napa Valley winemakers are inspired to create a unique expression of winemaking. It is made for just this one moment in time and never the same way again. There were 5 cases produced of this wine and we secured them. Sodhani Vineyards is a family-owned, 6.5-acre hillside vineyard in the golden west side of St. Helena with sweeping views of the Vaca Mountains across the valley, making limited production Cabernet Sauvignon wines crafted by one of the world’s top winemakers, Thomas Rivers Brown. Planted in 2000 in the rarest of volcanic Aiken stony clay loam soil, the vines are in full maturity, producing luscious, concentrated fruit. Due to the steep slope the vineyard is entirely hand-farmed and meticulously hand-harvested before dawn. Thomas has passionately created our unique Premiere Napa Valley wine from Clone 7 and used whole-berry fermentation, unfiltered and unfined. The wine is aged in Taransaud medium toasted 100 percent new French oak barrels for 20 months and Thomas then selects the best barrel from block of Clone 7 to create this phenomenal Cabernet. Thomas’s goal with this wine is to create the ultimate expression from our hillside terroir focusing on maximum power, complexity, and depth of flavor certain to coat the entire palate. This wine immediately draws you in with its completely opaque, deep purple hue and has a very sleek, viscous mouthfeel.
