I recently tasted this Screaming Eagle 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon vintage in September 2025 and it is outstanding. A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals remarkable depth and poise — layers of blackberry, cassis, and crushed violets unfold alongside graphite, cocoa, and warm cedar. The palate is concentrated yet refined, with seamless tannins and an extraordinary sense of balance that carries through a long, graceful finish. Still youthful but beginning to show its sophistication, this vintage reflects the power and precision of Oakville at its best and will continue to evolve beautifully over the next 10-15 years.
