Pont Neuf‘Pont Marie’ Chardonnay 2019- Special Priced 3-Pack

This is the newest vintage of ‘Pont Marie’ from Pont Neuf. If we haven’t turned you onto this exceptional Chardonnay yet, this is your chance to try one of the best hidden Chardonnay gems to date. This newly released 2019 Chardonnay from Pont Neuf comes from Lancel Creek Vineyard, but it is comprised solely of the Montrachet clone from a single vineyard block on this famed Russian River Valley site. Vintners Mary and Doug Danielak separated out three superb Tonnellerie Cavin barrels from the Le Pont Neuf Chardonnay to make this new offering. These barrels had a prolonged toast which provides a touch more weight in the glass. Elegant and textural, the wine is lively and supple with aromas of mineral, brioche, and white peach supported by a vibrant acidity, concentrated flavors, and rich textures on the palate. We feel that this single-vineyard lot, comprised uniquely of Montrachet clone, is the ultimate in opulence. This Chardonnay will continue to evolve in bottle for the next 8-10 years. 65 cases were produced.
