Fait-Main 'Penhoet Toyon Farm' Chardonnay 2015

Fait-Main continues to be one of my favorite Chardonnays each year and this 2015 is again, another contender for one of the best Chards I've tasted so far this year. Focused, with opulence but also with concentration, this 2015 Old Wente clone Chardonnay from Carneros' secluded Toyon Farm is a "supple and elegant wine with graceful minerality and round, rich fruit that evokes our 2012 and 2013 vintages. Concrete egg fermenters and partial malolactic fermentation in new French oak provide additional layers of complexity and silken texture." - Benoit Touquette. 200 cases were produced.
