Keith Emerson and Brian Brown met at Vineyard 29 in July of 2005 and the two have made wine together from a single vineyard in Oakville continually since then. Keith is going on his 16th vintage as the director of winemaking at Vineyard 29 and this is their own wine brand. Comprised of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Merlot and Malbec, this 2018 Cabernet “springs from the glass with ripe black cherries, cassis and boysenberries scents plus hints of dark chocolate, potpourri and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with savory-laced black fruits, framed by grainy tannins and lovely freshness.” 860 cases were produced.
