We’ve long enjoyed Keith Emerson’s wines for the last 5 years and are really happy that he is now getting the attention he deserves. Having been Philippe Melka’s assistant winemaker, Keith is now full-time winemaker at Vineyard 29 while also continuing to produce his own wine under both the Emerson Brown and Sonria labels. This 2013 Cabernet from Keith Emerson is a great find at a really great price. Coming from Oakville’s III Michael’s Estate along with Cabernet from Calistoga and Rutherford, this is one of the best buys for a Cabernet under $60. It offers notes of sweet blackcurrant a succulent silky mouthfeel.
