About The Crane Assembly
Dave Phinney, who brought to us his great wines under Orin Swift - think Papillon, Mercury Head and Prisoner - became co-founder of G.B. Crane Vineyards, a heritage vineyard located in St. Helena's west bench. Friends Vail and Leslie Miller have since purchased the project after many years of visits to the property. Consulting from Atelier Melka has also been recently added to the winemaking efforts helmed by Kevin A. Fox.
