This is a truly refreshing, seamless Sauvignon Blanc. Coming from their estate vineyard on Mount Veeder at 1600 feet in elevation, immediate aromas of citrus and honeysuckle lead onto the palate with secondary notes of minerality, depth and balanced acidity. There’s complexity to this wine as well as a crowd-pleaser taste. The Rudd team produced this wine in 38% neutral French oak, 32% concrete, and the remainder in Amphora, new French oak, and Stainless Steel. This 2019 is lively and vibrant with notes of grapefruit and gooseberry. "The wine builds with mid-summer stone fruits and honeydew that add depth to the mid-palate with a minerally textured finish, reminiscent of the salty mist of the ocean.
