Cherry Pie Stanly Pinot Noir 2013Carneros

Cherry Pie is another innovative offering from visionary winemaker Jayson Woodbridge, creator of Hundred Acre and Layer Cake Wines. While on the quest to produce an outstanding Pinot Noir, Jayson sought out the owners of Stanly Ranch in Carneros as their grapes were some of the most sought after Pinot Noir grapes in California. The Los Carneros AVA is located at the southern most end of Napa and Sonoma counties and is characterized by a cool maritime influence and several different microclimates. This 2013 Cherry Pie Stanly Ranch shows textural richness with deep and concentrated flavors. It was aged in 30% new French oak and was never racked or filtered, providing it with enormous complexity and luscious fruit flavors.
