2016 was an exceptional vintage for those on Pritchard Hill, especially Bryant Estate. And despite all the newcomers planting their home base on this special geographic location, they remain one of the best. As it overlooks Lake Hennessey, Bryant’s estate vineyard faces northwest and has about 60% morning sun and 40% afternoon sun with a cooling effect from the western winds. Since their first vintage in 1992, they have been working with David Abreu as their vineyard manager with Michel Rolland as their consulting oenologist. KK Carothers leads their winemaking team and was an intern with Bryant a few years prior. The 2016 Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet which we’re offering marks the 25th anniversary for Bryant Estate. Like we always say, the testament to a great estate is one that transcends time and stays relevant despite all the new wineries that are born. For this offering today, we were able to work with Bryant to bring some of these library wines to the table for you.
