Bridesmaid is an Napa Valley Red blend of classic Bordeaux varieties. This wine is all about the talent of blending and Pam Starr one of Napa Valley’s premier winemakers. Before starting Bridesmaid and Crocker & Starr Wines, Pam was the consulting winemaker for Gemstone and the winemaker for Spottswoode. Pam Starr has been the co-owner, manager and winemaker of Bridesmaid Wines since its inception in 2005. Intense inky plum color with a fuchsia rim, berry compote and graphite aromas precede the silky entry of violets, blackberry and Marion berry all perfectly balanced with a savory and spicy finish. The broad tannins and fresh spicy fruit flavors are great right now and will cellar well over the next 15 years.
