Perfect Season Cabernet Sauvignon 2013Knights Valley

The newly released 2013 vintage of Perfect Season fills the glass with notes of black fruit, cassis and a touch of sweet cedar oak. It is full-bodied and is a great example of classic Knights Valley Cabernet. The vineyard was planted by Jim Barbour in 2002 and the winemaker since their first vintage continues to be Philippe Melka. Vintner Norma Hunt (also owner of the Kansas City Chiefs) has produced another incredible vintage that is as good as their 2012 if not better. While Peter Michael Winery helped to make Knights Valley as well regarded as it is today, Perfect Season too is a great example of how good this sub-region in wine country is.
