2014 marks the debut vintage of LAZ Wine, the new project for wine business veteran Kerrin Laz of K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION. Produced by renowned winemaker Celia Welch, LAZ Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from exceptional vineyard sources thanks to Celia's longtime relationships with vineyard growers. Emphasizing perspective from the west and east benches of Rutherford, St. Helena, Oakville and Pritchard Hill, we invite you to enjoy the inaugural vintage of LAZ. 175 cases were produced.
Aromas of cocoa dust and purple fruit lead onto the palate with silky, refined notes of cassis, violets, mocha and a touch of crushed graphite. As the wine opens in the glass, this 2014 expands onto the palate with secondary notes of subtle, sweet cedar and seamless tannins. The finish is long and satisfying.
