Gandona Encosta Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Pritchard Hill

It’s interesting to note that Gandona’s neighbor above them is Melanson Vineyard yet these two Cabernets couldn’t be more different in style and on the palate. This newly released 2014 vintage showcases “notes of charcoal, graphite, blackberry and blueberry fruit, forest floor and spring flowers. The wine is rich and easy to smell, taste and consume, given the low acidity and silky tannins.” 800 cases were produced of this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Philippe Melka continues to oversee the winemaking for Gandona.
