Dalla Valle Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Oakville

2012 was a great vintage as we all know for most of the wine regions in California, especially Napa Valley. In their nook cut above the hillside of eastern Oakville Vaca Mountains, Dalla Valle's 2012 Cabernet sings. This is a classic vintage for Oakville Cabs and this offering spills notes of cassis and notes of graphite and purple fruit onto the palate. The finish is long and satisfying with smooth tannins coating the mouth. Winemaker Andy Erickson continues to produce outstanding Cabernet from this Estate property each vintage.
