Alejandro Bulgheroni Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Napa Valley – 750ml

Alejandro Bulgheroni Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 Napa Valley - K. Laz Wine Collection

I tasted this new vintage of Bulgheroni Estate Cabernet three times – first in January, again in February and just yesterday and am really impressed with their debut vintage. Made by Philippe Melka, it is comprised of the best barrels of the 2014 vintage and represents the finest lots of the Estate. The 2014 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon Clones 4 and 337 and Petit Verdot. The grapes were harvested on October 4, October 7 and October 11, 2014. Alejandro Bulgheroni Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in oak and concrete tanks and oak barrels for 28 days using wild yeast. It was barrel aged 22 months in 70% new French oak and bottled on July 19, 2016. This 2014 offers aromas from violets, plum and black cherry to tobacco and anise. It is a refined wine that shows great finesse and balance with well-integrated tannins, vibrant acidity, and ripe fruit character giving it immediate appeal. In its youth, this wine of great length benefits from decanting.” 200 cases were produced. This wine comes in beautiful 3-pack boxes ready to ship or can be split if you’d like to try just one or two bottles.
