Bryant Family Bettina Red 2013 Napa Valley - K. Laz Wine Collection

This continues to be one of my favorite Reds coming out of Napa Valley. Because David Abreu has been farming Don Bryant’s vineyard since first planting it in the late 1980s, Don was able to source from Abreu’s famed vineyards – Thorevilos, Madrona and Lucia – to make this Cabernet blend. Full-bodied, this 2013 Red “offers up sweet notes of white chocolate, espresso, blackberry and cassis. There are some floral notes as well in this medium to full-bodied, lush, sexy wine” and is named in honor of Don’s wife, Bettina.
