Accendo Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

This 2014 marks the second vintage of Accendo, the new winery that Bart and Daphne Araujo started with the help of their team led by winemaker Francoise Peschon, consulting oenologist Michel Rolland and viticulturist Steve Mathiasson." Bart and Daphne bought property along Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena and a great vineyard in Oakville that runs along the east bench of Silverado Trail. They are once again in the business of making exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. "On the nose, this wine is intense, vibrant and lively, showing intriguing notes of earth, cedar, tobacco leaf and smoky black tea.  In the mouth, the wine is fresh, poised and precise, with layers of dark fruits and silky tannins that perfectly support its sweet core. It is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon."
